Ashdown Wharf - 009 Layout Last updated 09/02/2012

Ashdown Wharf is a section of the larger Ashdown Junction layout that can be exhibited separately as an 009 layout. In this form it occupies a space of approximately 10ft x 10ft.

The section used is that depicting the main line viaduct crossing a quarry and canal basin. Purpose built 009 Fiddle Yards are added so that the quarry lines are fully operational. In addition the Main Line viaduct remains live. This part is usually shown as being under engineering possession with track maintenance machines or similar in action.

Ashdown Wharf was shown at the Bexhill Exhibition in August 2011.

The layout has been invited to attend Robertsbridge in May 2012.
